Sustainable Education Quality Improvement Using Academic Accreditation: Findings from a University in Saudi Arabia

Accreditation is widely considered to be a vital tool for quality assurance in higher education; however, there disagreement the academic community on intended benefits of accreditation. Preparing accreditation requires extensive financial and human resources complete required documentation. All agencies require improvements institutional infrastructure, enhanced student support, appropriate learning environments, faculty development, which can directly improve students’ experiences. In this paper, we explore impact by using case study-based approach. We selected four degree programs from University Saudi Arabia compared performances students different courses before after acquiring local program (NCAAA). The results highlight that although no direct relationship between increased performance accreditation, significant learning.
